In 1990, Bob Mellors, co-founder of the legendary Gay Liberation Front in the UK, moved to Warsaw. Discovering a changing Poland that had just ditched communism, Mellors documented in writing the hidden lives of Polish homosexuals. In 1996 he was found dead in his apartment, and the mystery of his murder still awaits resolution.
